As I was walking through my art room I looked over at the wall and realized I hadn't changed over the calendar page for this month, actually for the last two months. It was time to get up to speed. I turned the pages and I was like, "Of course this is the picture for this month". It was a photo of a wave cresting and creating what is known to some as the green room, that narrow space a surfer can get through before the wave collapses. It feels like it's speaking a now word from God. It's not the first time I have seen this imagery lately either, this is the third time, hence this post. I first saw it in a dream where I was explaining one of my prophetic art paintings to someone, secondly, in a movie recently which accurately reflects the theme of that same painting in a similar fashion and then now. It feels like it needs to be mentioned, it feels like God is saying, "It's time for this now." First of all, I think I need to say that it is not a right now word for everyone. You are going to have to discern if this is for you. Take some time and pray about it. Do not rush! If you haven't had more than one dream or one inkling or one prophetic word about this, or more than one confirmation in the natural then it's not for you, not right now. There needs to be multiple confirmations as always. It all needs to line up with what is going to happen next and God will have been talking to you about it for quite a while now. It's been a major theme, absolutely no mistaking it. I'm sure if this is meant for you, you've be nodding your head in agreement already. I believe a window of opportunity is opening up for you, the kind that is not going to last forever. Just like this wave, there is only so much time and then it's done because when the green room closes, it's closed. It's a limited time kind of opportunity, unique just like every wave. And it's one that needs to be approached if one was on a surf board. You are going to have to get low on your board. Humble. Focused. This is not a time to be Hangin' Ten waving to people on the beach. You are going to have to crouch, your hair getting wet from that wave that is cascading closed. You are going to have to be steady too, sure of your feet, sure of your foundations in the LORD. It's going to matter. If you slip, you are going to fall off your board. You will not make it through in time. Lastly, you are going to have to, "dress narrow" as it were. There's not a whole lot of stuff going through that window at the end of the green room, just enough space for a person flying by the proverbial seat of their pants, or swimsuit in this case, so think about everything that means. What kind of thoughts are coming to mind? If this word is for you then there are practical things that you need to do to get ready for this upcoming opportunity that may be popping to mind right now. I think part of that is that you are going to have to slim down your life. What in your life is extra? Really extra? Start there. (Please don't take this as a confirmation of a major relationship exit direction because this is not what this is.) It's time to press into God and ask Him for wisdom about your next steps, they are important. If they weren't I wouldn't be writing this and you wouldn't be reading it. God's timing is perfect and He knows everything about you. No detail has slipped His mind. He knows exactly what He is doing and exactly what He is asking of you. And I feel like God is saying, "It's time for the rubber to meet the road."
"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." -James1:5 NIV.
"Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counsellors they are established." - Proverbs 15:22 NKJV.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. " - Hebrews 12:1 NLT.
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."Romans 10:9-10
"This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent." - John 6:29
Keep stretching your hands out to God dear hearts. Pour your heart out like a waterfall to Him. The road has surely been rough, but we are mighty in Him. Praise you Jesus. You did it all.
